Arran received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Reading, UK in 2018. He then spent two and a half years working at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Stirling since July 2020.

Manas worked on an MSc project examining how risk for eating disorders alters semantic interpretation bias for food and body words. He is also working on a placement in the lab studying reporting transparency in published TMS studies.
